That's what the handbrake is for dumbass.

1. Put car in first with foot on clutch, foot on brake, pull up handbrake with button depressed.
2. Take foot off brake, and rev the engine slightly, all while releasing the e-brake and releasing the clutch.

No extra clutch wear.

This is the way you do it, and when you are smooth, it will really impress you're passengers!

Perhaps they need a noob guide for me too. I have a hard time determining what the hell all these terms mean. "slipping the clitch"? What does that mean? I know these terms. "Clutch down fully, clutch down most of the way, foot off clutch." Anyway, since I am a noob and still have no idea what the hell "slipping the clutch" means, can someone explain?

if (m4h.trans == manual)
return yes;
else

<3 I have a 2001 Hyundai Sonata that is a 5 speed and my girlfriend didn't believe the car could do anything of that sorts so at a light at like 1 in the morning i revved it up and dumped the clutch and the car just started to drift to the right so I had to let off :(

Giving the car too much gas without the clutch fully released. Leads to burning clutch.

And if done severely enough, you are given a nice whiff of what smells almost like burning brakes

And the clutch can start to feel mushy..not 'sticky' like it should.
