Is Heroes worth catching up on?

If you must watch it, watch only season 1. The show has been disappointing since. They should take a page out of the Lost playbook, now that's a show that made a nice comeback after a couple disappointing seasons.

I was debating even bother watching any of season 3, I have them all on my DVR but my wife and I kind of feel like it really went to shit in season two and it makes us hesitant watching season 3...

Season 1 was bloody amazing. I couldn't stop watching it and actually stayed up all night to finish the season on DVD.

I have the 2nd season at home, but have not had a chance to watch it. From the sound of things, I will be very disappointed.

Season 1 was epic. Season two wasn't too good. Three wasn't good either but the last few episodes of three were better than the rest of three and season two.

I got Season 1 for free with my HD-DVD player, I watched the entire fucking thing in one sitting, it was that great. Sadly, I had already seen the season finale, which was amazing, but it was still a great ride. Season 2 sucked ass, except Maya was hot, and Sparky/Kristen Bell was hot too, AND that chick from Reaper was hot. Season 3 sucked.

I went from never seeing an episode, to half way thru this season, in a little under 2 weeks. Had some time on my hands... and all the episodes. Worth it, imo.

I agree with everyone that season 1 is the best. I don't think the rest of it is really that bad though. Although I didn't watch it religiously every week and just catch-up every 3/4 episodes or so.

I'm watching 24 as well this season, but I stopped at around episode 12. Going to wait until after the finale (next week I believe) and then I'll watch the second half of the season in one go

It's alright. no where as good as season 1. I miss Hiro and him actually having a power. And badass Hiro. And Sark... er I mean, Adam.

The sad part is, I find Chuck far more enjoyable, and that's on the ropes =(

for slightly less know shows, try dexter, breaking bad, and the wire, like people have mentioned. the wire might be the best show ever. dexter is also very awesome, and has sustained its awesomeness through the seasons. breaking bad is in its 2nd season and its pretty good too.
