Is Heatware a generally accepted form of feedback for new eBay users?

Well, if I was a ebay user I wouldn't use your heatware as a reference since most people probably never heard of it.

i was able to use it once. a guy was selling a set of "naked lady" poker chips, and i missed the auction end. i only had 1 feedback on ebay, so i emailed him asking for a set sans auction. i gave him my heatware refs, and links to AT, hardocp, and amdmb. he said thats cool, and sold me a set on the side. im sure its like here, tho, where ebay refs really dont mean squat to most people.

Probably depends on the person, but you might want to explain a little about heatware

Definitely have to explain what Heatware is and the different sites that use them (AT, HardOCP, etc).

I've used Heatware at many other forums which generally don't use Heatware and haven't had too many problems. Even got a couple people to ship first due to it :Q

Had one guy ship an Xbox first and another guy offer to ship a Laptop first.

Don't think I would be that trusting, but it made me feel good
