In a way, i think it subtely is..
And here's how. Having a supportive friends (especially a supportive group of friends) helps to increase your self confidence level.

Self confidence is needed in order to even have a chance at getting a woman.

Thus friends are needed, in order to have a chance at getting a woman.

Any thoughts? If this is true, it sucks because I don't have a group of friends.

Well based on your theory, you don't need friends to have a GF. You can still be self confident and not have a lot of friends.

nah, when i met my last gf i had no friends. she broke me out of the antisocial stage of my life though and i have lots of friends again.
