Is having friends required before having a girlfriend?

Is it required to have friends before you have a girlfriend?

In a way, i think it subtely is..
And here's how. Having a supportive friends (especially a supportive group of friends) helps to increase your self confidence level.

Self confidence is needed in order to even have a chance at getting a woman.

Thus friends are needed, in order to have a chance at getting a woman.

Any thoughts? If this is true, it sucks because I don't have a group of friends.

Ok.. first of all, too many threads about the same topic.

Secondly, yeah friends are kind of required. Loner != Attractive to girls.

Thirdly, if self-confidence was needed, then 85% of the males would be single, and the world would have been doomed.

I had imaginary friends before I had an imaginary girlfriend. So I'm guessing the same holds true in the real world.

Easy way of making friends: Fake an accent, and say you just came here from Denmark. From my observation, people are suckers for being friends and hanging out with European people.

the reason i post so many threads about similar but different philosophical issues is because I am a curious man, and discussing these things helps me in life.

Not hard? Are you joking me!?

Getting a good group of friends is incredibally hard (maybe i just have my friends standards set up a little too high) but honestly right now I am at Christian college, and it is 3 months into the year (already kind of hard because people have already found their friend groups) but even worse it appears that I cannot find one group of friends that I would feel comfortable hanging around and admitting to a girl that I hang around them. not one! That's how rotten some of these ppl's mouths are. At a friggin Christian college for crying out loud!

Group of friends... hmmm... kinda hard to start your own to when you live in a 3 person dorm room (that was made for 2 ppl) and it's overly crowded, and your roomates invite their football friends in all the time!

so kinda hard to start my own group too... and even more difficult will be next semester when I wont have a room in the dorms anymore and I'll be commuting.. when I'll have to 'stop in' and hang out (have someone unlock the hall doors for me every time I come in) and even then I would end up just hanging around in kids rooms that I don't know that well when I don't even live there.

gee, now THAT wouldnt look desparate. *rolls-eyes*

I guess the bottom line is.. I'm a little bit worried.

Yes, by federal law you must have a group of at least 12 friends before you are allowed to have a girlfriend.

For each 6 friends thereafter, you may have one more girlfriend.

A group of friends != Gang or Clan. They don't have to come to your room. I have never been to some of my friends' homes.

What if I have a group of 6 friends? Does that entitle me to a friend with benefits?

Also, what if my group fills out to 12 friends and then increases to 15 friends? Does that entitle me to a friend with benefits in addition to my one girlfriend?

This is all so confusing.

According to common law in California, you must be a black to date an Asian chick.
