will the bigger drive and faster drive let say 120G 7200rpm will used more power than 80G drive?? or they are same?
 
Assuming it's the same product line I would say it's the same. The only thing really different is the density of the data on the platters.
 
If they are both 7200rpm, then probably the same. Disk speed can affect the power drain.
 
It will also use more power if there are more platters inside. This is unlikely if you are comparing 120GB and 80GB drives. They both should be using two platters. But comparing a 40GB and 120GB drive both at 7200 RPM from the same company's product line, the 120GB will use more power, especially at startup.
