Is google's rounded search box less ergonomic than the rectangular box?

Mine looks the same on any computer, but I don't feel like going to my desktop to prove it atm.

I just went to google.ca looks normal to me.

Though I do hate that "feature" where it submits the search before you're even done typing. It's not doing it anymore though maybe they got rid of that?

I had to Ctrl+ about 15 times to see it, but fuckin' A, those corners ARE rounded!

I might have to switch to Google Pro now so I can get square corners and non-fake news about the president.

It certainly feels weird. I'm not sure what the point of this redesign in. I especially hate the new Chrome "home" page that shows your most commonly visited sites as their favicons now. Way less readable.

On this new desktop at home (Chrome...whatever was current ~2 days ago), it is round. I hate the round, I really, really, really do.

You can change it back by going to chrome://flags/#top-chrome-md and changing UI Layout for the browser's top chrome to Normal
