Having a discussion with a friend, want to see what everyone else thinks.

btw, it's just the two of you guys going to a movie. no one else.

the question is, are you secure enough in your heterosexuality to sit right next to each other, in a fairly uncrowded theater....

I'm too insecure for that, and a sexist pig. So I say no.

I go w/ 2 other guys often though.

So, you are saying that you are a guy and you are going to a movie with another guy friend? If so, nothing wrong with that. Don't worry, people won't think you are gay. Oh, and you don't have to put an empty seat between the two of you either.

Yes, it's normal Yzzim, unless you're homophobic and feel that going out w/ a guy friend alone is gay and shouldn't be done ;) :)

If it's a pretty empty theater (like a matinee) a seat between is required.

If it's a romantic comedy starring Julia Roberts and/or Hugh Grant... then YES

Otherwise, no

My roomate always sits with a seat inbetween with all out friends. The rest of us sit right next to eachother.

I dunno, I just do what society says I should. I admit it, I'm a sheep.
