just wondering. I just did a search at Newegg for some 256MB/PC2700 RAM and this was the first (cheapest) thing to come up. I've never heard of them. The system this is going into will be runing at stock, and most likely never OC'd, if that matters any.

GeIL has a spotty record.....on one hand people claim to hit extremely good oc's with this ram......on the other hand some people can't even do default speeds with this ram
so i say stay away from it

I'll keep that in mind. Besides, I looked further down the list, and I can get Kingston memory for about the same price - Geil included a shipping charge; the Kingston was a few dollars more but no shipping. I've used Kingston for ages and never had a problem.

That said, I would still like to hear other people's oppinion on it.

I would think that Kingston has a worse track record than Geil. I've never heard of a worse ram than kingston. Envynews had a review of Geil pc3200 or pc3500 I believe that was impressive!

Here's a nice Geil PC3500 UP DCDDR Kit review

I bought the 1GB PC3500 PC3500 UP DCDDR Kit a little over one 3 weeks ago, and it has fared well. My only goal was to run cas2 @ 200FSB on my NF7-S v1.2, and I've been able to accomplish just that. Directron.com has a really nice price on Geil memory if you are interested.
