Is Gecube a good brand?

I am getting a used Gecube 9600PRO for my old AXP 2400+ computer for US$50. Is Gecube a good brand?

My dads got a 9200, 128 bit, 128 MB card and it works great.

GeCube is nice. Just never buy it from OUTPOST.com... my friend got a GeCube 9600XT and well... let's just say it didn't make it to Guam in one piece.
