here's the story.
there's this girl who comes to the store where I work quite often. [no pix, I just met her]... anyway, I had a feeling she liked me so while I was cashier that day, she bought something and went to my cash to pay... long story short, I asked her name/number, I continued working and she left.
called today and she was already had something planned with her friends.
she really wants to do something tomorrow (today) [new years eve]... but I was hesitant to ask her out on new years eve because I barely know her and taking her on a 2hr drive to niagara falls for some fireworks might not be a great idea for a first date with someone I only know the name/number to. and even if she turns out to be great company, I doubt there's any vacancies at the niagara falls hotels

.
I've always kept my first dates under 5hrs just to be safe, but any new years eve date I could think of would break that rule... you AT folks have any ideas?
