They are both open world no? do you believe gta v will be more demanding?
I know system requirements aren't out yet however was wondering if a computer that runs far cry 4 could run gta v as well.

This is similar to asking what price the Nasdaq will be at 2 months from now. If anyone tells you they know for sure, they're lying.

Also game type doesn't really matter.
Look at the System Requirements for Far Cry 4, then for Dragon Age Inquisition, then for Assassin's Creed Unity.

gta v runs just like far cry 4 i heard ts

Any game made for the "new-gen" consoles will have the same CPU requirements, the graphics engine used will change the requirements for the VGA (the FPS you will get for similar quality settings)

GTAV will support 4K resolutions and that will require a lot of VGAs,but low settings @ ~30FPS will be doable on even very low spec systems.

You keep asking this, and your threads keep getting locked.

Also, creating multiple accounts is a perma-bannable offense, FYI.

(and a previous account/thread found within that thread)
Wow the false accusations, I will report you for talking out of your ass, how can i contact an admin?

Not only that but it's rather hypocritical to conclude that from my statement, why would i even create such a thread if i had that rig?
My rig is old...

Intel core 2 duo e7500 2.93 ghz (OC to 3.3)
4gb ram
HD 7750

Nice try though, thanx for the false accusation

Edit: And if you still don't believe me, i live in greece, have fun creating that rig in greece, specially being unemployed.

a lot of people on this forum are more interested in getting people banned, turning the tides against a particular user, than actually discussing any topic you might post. you will learn that the worst of herd mentality exists on internet forums like this one, especially where the majority of the posters are older and been here forever - they think they own the place and can talk down to new posters.

On a serious note,GTA5 is gonna want one hell of a cpu i am sure.GTA4 pretty much runs like crap on anything outside of a super computer and even those i doubt could play that game well.

Gpu is gonna be subjective,my freaking gtx770 tanks with the very high settings at times at 768p.If i go to high i am severely cpu bottlenecked lol.Hard to translate a terrible console ports performance to a newer one but i think i got the base down.

Should be fun if and when this game comes out.The comparisons to FC4 i don't get period.

the fact that Xbone is running it at 1080p with a better framerate than last gen, and upgraded rendering, should be a good sign.

in some ways GTA4 is and will remain the more demanding title. unless they are giving the PC version it's own set of physics, the physics in PS4/XB1 versions of GTA5 still are not as sophisticated as they are in GTA4. No doubt they cut back on the physics so they could fulfill their vision for how Los Santos should look, and I think they made the right choice. I just hope they beef the physics up a bit more for the PC version.

When it came out it ran very bad, they fixed that.
4 came out some 6 month after the console version so it was very rushed, with 5 they took more than a year to port it form ps3 to PS4/xbox and now an other 3 month to bring it to the PC,on the consoles it runs quite well so the port from risc to x86 has been done very well, all thats left is for them not to srew up the "port" from x86 to x86...

Vga demands is gonna kill it,if they bring it out with a high texture pack than you will need a huge VGA with 6Gb Vram to use that.

Do you believe a rig that can run gta iv, can run a well optimized gta v as well?

asking for your personal opinion, i know it's just guessing at this point.

just guessing i would say your rig is probably gonna really struggle to run it, if it even boots up

that's just speculation, wait for benchmarks once the game is relased
