Not trying to be a complete dick, and I am being far to "broad" when I say everyone.

But you go off on some of these threads - on what people make - age - degree- etc- location, and its all obviously fabricated and completely false - even sometimes they create future threads (weeks later) about getting a job offer...on a totally different occupation, even magically they recieved a different degree throughout the coursework of there college career...

Seriously people, why? Are you that insecure that if you think if people across on some random web forum are impressed by your e-penis and fabricated persona that you created, that you can sleep better at night?

Sorry - bad day, and oh - you guys can flame on me if you want. Don't care - underpaid and overworked and live in the midwest (North Dakota, and make 45k/yr) by "some" peoples standards on this board - I am scum.

Christ almighty - I will get some quotes and update this thread, seriously - its not a matter of finding which ones are obviously fabricated - but rather, selecting the best ones lol.

IF someone is that obvious with their lies then I have faith ATOT will find and expose them. It has happened many, many times around here.

Bingo. Lying only adds to drama in your life. I am fairly too honest with people though. I mean what I say and I say what I mean, which throws a lot of people for a loop because a lot of people are used to hidden agendas. I will willingly tell people I trust a lot about myself, but only if I really trust them, otherwise I can be pretty reserved. It sometimes leads to some people abusing my trust though, but that is a risk you have to be willing to take if you want genuine friends, and I have more genuine friends than most people. :D A few of the people I know have even come straight up to me and said that they wish they had a group of friends like mine. It is easy, if you just put yourself out there, but that is the hard part.

Why would you even care who is lying on a forum... it's not just here, it's everywhere.

Are you just wanting to feel better by confirming that they're lying about their salary because you don't make jack?

No just wondering what possesses someone to lie period, real world included, but especially why a forum? Just sounds pathetic to do it on a forum, I realize requesting an explanation for the action is really out of the question (and to be honest is blatantly obvious when it all stems from insecurity)

Also kudos to the insult for when no one (Myself included) have not said a single thing to aggrevate you.

While I've posted about my degree, job offers etc. on this forum I have never lied about any of it. I waffled a lot as to which offer I was going to to take, but never lied about the details of the offers I was considering.

I wouldn't lie to people I care about. I would reserve what I say though. Some things, you don't need to lie about, but you can just choose not to say anything.
