eBay is like anything else in life. It is safe if you use common sense. I've been a member there since the fall of '97 and have never been burned as a buyer or a seller.

EDIT: Just looked at the listing. It's a piddly $15 item and the seller has 168 positives and 0 negatives. I'd say that you're not going to have any problems on this one.

Ebay is safe like a bed of knives :D

Seriously tho, it's pretty safe, and you usually get great buys and safe purchases...so go get you some :)

Don't worry, ebay is just as safe as e-mail. You can't get anthrax from either. ;)

My only ebay rule is not to bid from foreign countries (excluding Canada). Too much can happen in transit.

Russ is right.

Someone who buys/sells a lot is not going to screw you over a $15 item.
They have their reputation to think about.

Looks like a good seller. Here is a tip though...email the seller and tell him you are serious abotut your bid(since you are new to eBay and will have no feedback). he may freak out when he sees a newbie without any refs and cancel your bid. If you email him, be friendly and you'll have a smooth transaction.
