Is DxO Optics Pro worth it for amateur?

I have seen some great results with the program in correctly barrel distortion, but those anyone use this regularly? What do you think of it?

I don't use Optics Pro since Photoshop CS3's barrel distortion correction works just as well, but DxO Filmpack is something that's very useful.

The last time I tried it, it was functionally okay. However, I found the interface to be a little clunky. Have you tried a demo?

Try the demo and decide for yourself 🙂
I've settled on canon's dpp for now. The UI is a bit of a pain, but the results seem to be very good. If I didn't have that, I may well use DxO. The lens corrections work very well - assuming it supports your body+lenses, but I was not as convinced by the RAW conversion and noise reduction.
