Is Duke Nukem Forever going to be released this year?

Duke Nukem in Manhatan is coming next April, Duke Nukem Forever, I dont know they dont have the Engine yet.
 
I agree that they have missed their window to be technologically cutting edge, but the game is going to see the light of day this year.....we'll know more at E3..
 
Saw a news bit a month ago over at voodooextreme.com saying that it wouldn't be out until November. And there is this article on the publisher that mentions DNF also:

As I rember it was supposed to use the Quake 2 engine.
Then the Unreal engine.
And who knows which one now, that was 4 years ago.

No. As its name states, it's going to take "Forever" for the game to be release!

 
Here's the REAL scoop on Duke4Ever:


3DRealms has decided to change engines for Duke 4 to the more advanced Q4 engine and promises this will be much more fun for gomers who also have the new GeeWiz 256mb video card and 1gig of ram. "We are only thinking of you gomers" says 3DRealms. This "slight" delay shouldn't be no more than 3 years at which such time there is a viable possibilty of another switch to either the upcoming UT4 or Q5 engine. It's INSANE how long this game is taking, BUT if it rocks, who'll complain? Half-Life to a loooooooong time and it looks like ass compared to UT and RtCW, but so what? It's a great GAME! Heck, Duke 3D is still a cool game if you can get past the Lego graphics.

Better a late, visually OK game that has awesome gameplay than a rushed, bleeding edge engine game that sucks.
