Is downloading from Internet against Religion in any way?

Who give a crap what the bible says? I don't need religion to tell me what I should and should not do. I don't illegally download movies/games/software, nor do I commit any other immoral or illegal acts. I don't live my life the way I do because I fear god or what awaits me in the afterlife. I live my life the way I do because that's how I was raised and because I believe you should treat people how you want to be treated. Things don't happen for a reason...they just happen. You make your own life and you deal with the decisions you make. That is it.

I'm not so sure the Bible would consider it stealing. Did they consider someone making a duplicate copy of the Bible to be stealing it? Illegally downloading songs is copyright infringement, not stealing. However, as Mosh pointed out, God honors man's laws.

From what I know, there were actually 15 commandments, but Moses could only carry 10 down from the mountain at the time, so God said fuck it and scrapped the last 5. I've heard rumors that the 14th commandment was something like, "Thou shalt not infringe upon the copyrights of others".

Now, if you want to get one from the store, you'll have to pay in order to compensate some company for printing it and binding it in an attractive leather cover, plus a little profit for the company. But, there is no copyrights... You can download the Bible and print 100 copies to give away to all your friends if you want.

No, it's easy.

The average bread merchant probably makes $15 per loaf, which contains about 20 songs...I mean portions.

Since Jesus fed 5000 men, plus slightly more women and children, that's (12000/20)*$15, or $9000 exactly.
That is how much money they lost, just as if He'd stolen the bread directly, and Jesus should be liable for every penny. Plus damages.
