Is DLP used for the IMAX?

We have an IMAX, but listings show regular and DLP...is that the same as the IMAX?

no, if it's listed only as DLP it is just a standard digital projector showing a 2K file

IMAX has started using DLP projectors to display movies in some locations but they use 2 of them in tandem operation and a bunch of proprietary gear to create the image

If you scroll down the list on my link to TN, it has a question mark next to that theater and says that it has both a giant IMAX screen and a regular screen. You might be OK here. Both Chatanooga and Nashville have real screens.
