Is DD-WRT reccomended?

The 54s is the one with the amplified antenna, right? If so, that's what I have, and it runs great with DD-WRT.

Yea thats the one. I think i will try DD WRT first as Tomato has instructions of upgrading from DD WRT, and if I don't like DD WRT for whatever reason trying Tomato would be easy then.

dd-wrt, tomato or hyperwrt. people go by preferences.

if you brick your router, you may be SOL.

Doesn't freeze up if you run a torrent
has cool graphs to track your bandwidth usage

Can't speak for Qos as I don't use it, but BT works perfectly fine on DD-WRT for me. Also, the newest builds of DD-WRT have a bandwidth graph.

Basically, try them all and see which one you prefer.
