Is CPU the new Video?

There are a few informed and relatively intelligent posters in there (Zebo and Duvie spring to mind),but a massive crowd of moronic clowns seem to have jumped on the AMD X2 fanboy wagon, mention the word 'intel' and at least thirty prats will come in and scream abuse at you

That is if they aren't busy participating in another thread/threads praising AMD or bashing intel...

On the good side of things tho, Video has really settled out nicely, and is actually a reasonably friendly place atm :Q

Wouldn't it be great, though, if there was a place you could go to get info on that? You know, to find information about PC hardware coming out soon? And it'd be GREAT if it was on the internet, so was always available to read!

Maybe a website that would right up ARTICLES on the various new CPUs. Like the dual-core Pentium and Athlon64s! Then, you could easily see which one outperformed the other!!

Man, that'd be great. :thumbsup:

QFT Video is a mess fixable only by dozens of bans. It's now a completely worthless forum, an absolute waste of bandwidth.

In contrast, CPU and OC forum is the same as it ever was. Only now the shoe is on the other foot. It's fun to watch the Intel guys be on the defensive.
