Is cow tipping a felony?

My friends where talking about going cow tipping and I heard that it is a felony in some places....is it in north carolina? if not what can be done if you are caught on the farmers property if there is a no tresspassing sign up..../

The cows don't sleep standing up, they're just standing there. They pretty much can't see you coming, but they aren't asleep. They lay down when they sleep.

I'm sure the farmer can still shoot them. I'm sure he has all kinds of nice farm equipment around to help hide the bodies. Chipper-shredders and wheat threshers are good for that.

Well it depends on the cow tipping. If you tip over the cow you are in big trouble.
However I don't think there is a farmer out there who will complain if you tip a cow by taping a dollar bill to it.

I can go ahead and tell you that's right and wrong. 3 guys CAN tip a cow. 1 little guy WILL bounce off the cow, the cow will not be moved.
I have seen this in person, back in the day.
Also, cows WILL chase you briefly.
