quick question before i go to sleep...

is costco gas comparable to texaco, shell, 76, chevron, arco?
since its price significantly lower than most gas companies, how does it rank based on value?

please back up your commments, thanks 🙂

costco has pretty cheap gas sometimes.

Edit:

<< please back up your commments, thanks 🙂 >>

its too far so i just buy gas from the ARCO station, cheapest gas.

I don't know how the "quality" of it is, I know that in Northern Nevada, it is 'rebadged' Flying J's gas. So, however flying j's is. It's a lot cheaper, and you do have to have a membership card to get gas there.

it sucks, I tried once,
it makes my car sounds worse and performs worse than usual gas.

it's just about $0.2 cheaper than usual gas, it doesn't save much for me.

<< It's good stuff, at least in so cal. >>

i'm in no. cal and have tried gas in 2 diff stations, it's pretty cheap gas, maybe not watered down like some mom/pop operations, but i get decent mileage, comparable to Arco

I am in Nor. Cal too. I am beginning to notice that I have to make more frequent trips to the gas station. Hmmmmmmm.... I wish there was in expert in the forums cuz I have been wondering the exact same thing for weeks now.

I think that most of the gas in so cal comes from the same refinery. It doesn't matter where you buy the stuff, it's just the same gas with a different label.
