Is Compton, CA really as bad as it is said to be?

From that site I can see the people in that area don't like to burglarize or rape people so much, but they love to kill them!

I compared my city to Compton, and we apparently do like to rape and burgle LOL

The killing.... not so much.
 
My Dads work is close to Compton. I think its ok as long as you are there during the daytime... I wouldnt go anywhere near there at night though.
 
like all cities some parts arent that bad, a lot of areas are being built up other parts you wont make it down the block unless you know people that live there and they know you

they also have a casino thats not doing to bad financially
 
I use to play the Commerce Casino, which is basically in Compton. It's a rough place, man. It's just trashed....

LOL, you must have enjoyed the harbor area. The only cool places to visit in Baltimore is the harbor, fells point, and federal hill. The rest of the city, most of it, is just trashy and poor.

Besides those areas that I mentioned, Im just curious as to what else you like about Baltimore?
 
Dallas beats out compton in everything by a large margine except murder and assault.

Lubbock has twice as many rape and a lot more theft. My guess is any college town would be similar.

Cumberland, ME 😛 I'm actually from North Yarmouth, which they don't have in their database, probably because there was NO crime there. And I'm betting the only reason theft is prevalent is because everyone leaves their doors unlocked all the time. Haha

I'm used to living outside the city, never in the city. The harbor is nice. Being walking distance from Orioles stadium is nice. Actually having stuff to do after dark is nice. Not the safest of all cities (duh), but it's fun.

And having the best team in football is awesome too 😛
