Is compress bad for your CPU ?

Hello, I Just would like to know if Compress air in the can, can harmful the CPU parts inside, the compress also have a liquid that get cold when you use the can and sometime comes out of the can, if that liquid goes onto the mboard can that damage the mb. Thank You

You should try to avoid getting your can of compressed air to spew out the "white stuff." While it usually causes no harm to electronic components (such as your CPU), it very well could damage your components. Moreover, some cans of compressed air have a CAUTION note on them somewhere saying that the "white stuff" could possibly harm your components.

Try keeping you can held in an upright position at all times--and don't ever shake and spray.

If the components do get wet make sure that you let it dry completely before using again. PCB's should be ok as long as they're completely dry since this stuff dry's pretty fast and complete. Make sure you use the can upright though like the guy said.

Well That Should help alot because i used to shake the can before i spray and the white liquid stuff used to come out. Thanks Boyz

I would not use compressed air on your cd-rw or dvd as it can damage the heads. Canned air is extremely useful in clearing dust away from fans and vents.
