I beg to differ... It's in a PIE CRUST so it's a PIE!!! 😛

Might I suggest you create a poll to settle this?
 
It's cake. Hence the moniker "cheesecake"
Pie has a definite crust and a loose filling, not so with cheesecake.
And don't question me on this either, I worked at a certain restaurant chain that specialized in the stuff. I HATED when people called it "pie." Ugh.

Hairpie doesn't have a crust.....er well at least most of the time. I wouldn't eat one with a crust though. 🙂

I never thought about this. Well, it is indeed in a crust, as stated by Klee58 . . . but. . . . never mind! Well, actually, it is technically a pie when you think about it. I give up! I luv cheesecake. I don't care what you call it, just give it to me. . . . No, I don't eat it everyday or too often 'cuz it's not good for me and I'll get fat. But anytime there's a special event with desserts, cheese cake is my preference, and then carrot cake. 😀
