Anyone have any comments on that centurion 540 matx case? The motherboard i am getting is matx so I figured maybe a matx case would be a good idea since the last thing parents need is a huge tower.

You and I have the same thing in mind. I'm going to build that with Coolermaster RC540 Silver case. It comes with adequate powersupply. Not great. just adequate. I figured my dad won't be overclocking anytime soon so I guess 380Watt would be just okay. Add a couple of silent fans and they would be set.

Ok its down to these two cases. The first is the Centurion 540 which comes with a 380W power supply. The second is the Antec SLK1650 which comes with a 350W power supply. Any suggestions? Also thanks for everyones help. The advice has been great so far.

I have the SLK1600, same as the 1650 but without the side vent. It's a great budget base, easy to work in, and the power supply's been running my wife's computer for a few moths with no problems.

Thanks for everyones help. I ended up going with the slk1650. It seemed like a good cheap case with a decent power supply and i'm sure itll be great for my dads build.
