I'm thinking of using an extra desktop (windows 7 professional) as a tuner-less HTPC, mostly to get Hulu and Netflix on my bedroom pc.

Has Boxee shaped up recently? The last beta I used had serious issues with Hulu (choppy) and Netflix would crash the app.

Yes, yes - I could try it out myself, but (since this is a bedroom pc), but you guys are wizards 🙂
