Is BMW M3/M4 best car in price range?

Leasing a German car is the only way to go. Just the bill for scheduled maintenance is enough to make your head spin, nevermind when they break (and they will... a bunch).

That being said there is sadly nothing American that compares to the fit & finish and attention to detail of a higher end German car. Even if a brand new CTSV or ATSV ran circles around a M3/4 at a track, the Cadillac still comes across as a mullet-mobile.

This guy is wrong. Cadillac fit and finish is a leap beyond BMW right now in direct vehicle comparisons. You're only going to meet it in an S class or a brand new C class, but then you give up reliability and performance.

I'm going to guess that he hasn't seen a newer CTS-V. The first gen didn't have a great interior (I had an '04 for a couple of years) but the 09+ is a different animal entirely.
