lol, loser friends? How so, deary? Just because me and my friends don't go out and get wasted to forget all their misery and then die in a car crash on their way home does not make them losers. And, I do go out. I just don't do it every fucking day because that would be highly expensive and surprise surprise a lot of my friends have jobs and colleges to attend(Kinda like me). I can play a game and call it quits in the same time it would take us to just get to a place to do something.

Yes, play sports in the freezing weather(It is fucking winter after all)... I see your logic sir, and raise you another gallon of beer.

What an arrogant, yet entertaining post.

Snow football? Skiing? Snowboarding? Cross country skiing?

Besides the obvious fundamental errors in your logic, haven't you ever watched the x-games?

And to the OP, I really don't think Bioshock is really worth it. It is a really mundane game that I've tried to get into at least a few times but stopped after 4-5 hours of gameplay.
That said, I'd still buy it for $5 to support game developers.

1. I don't drink. Go out != get drunk, you retarded fuck. Going out doesn't have to be expensive either.

2. I go to college, as does a lot of the population, and I have a job, like the other large segment of the population, so stop jacking off on your high horse because you aren't special.

3. It is easier to play a game and then quit when you are playing single player. If you are playing with others, they would probably be pissed if you just up and quit during the middle of whatever you are doing.

4. So now people don't play sports in winter? Ever heard of winter sports? Also, it isn't snowing everywhere, and there are such things as indoor sports. And since when was I only talking about winter? We are making generalized statements here, dipshit.

Holy crap you people take games serious. Angry internet males are hilarious. It's like going to the zoo.

For $5? Sure. That's a bit cheaper than a game rental, which is about all BioShock is worth.

Great experience the first time through; absolutely no replay value after that.

You people are crazy. BioShock may be short and it may not be at all revolutionary, but it's clearly worth $5. A good lunch costs more than that.

And you've gotta love the single- vs. multi-player bullshit. I've never heard of anyone else completely ruling out all single-player games because they'll miss their friends too much. You never do anything to entertain yourself? You never watch a movie alone? TV? Read a book? Give me a break.

BioShock isn't a huge time commitment, and it's a well-made game. I can't think of a good reason to pass it up at this price.

Most any decent game is worth $5. If I can get several hours of an enjoyable experience out of a game its more than worth it. Since my time is very limited these days with family, work, friends.. I don't like paying $40+ for games.. its hard to get the time in. These sub $20 deals from Steam have been fantastic.

It's $5. If I get it and hate it, then I won't really feel upset because it's fairly cheap.

I'm excited for Bioshock 2 coming out early February. Should hold me over until my favorite kind of game comes out, BFBC2 in early March.

I love both, but for very different reasons. Comparing them really doesn't mean anything IMO.

Of course it is - it's not some cheap budget crapfest like other discount titles.

Meh, I tried to play bioshock, but I just didn't like it either. Well done atmosphere, but not one I like. It's creepy, so not for me.

Me too. I bought it for $5 last xmas steam sale. I tried and tried to get into it, but IMO it was too consolized.

Definitely worth it for $5. The only reason I never finished the game was because towards the end, each splicer took an entire clip to put down, which is sucked (all my weapons were fully upgraded too). Took the fun out of upgrading.
