Is Bioshock worth getting for 5 dollars?

Bioshock's one of my all time favorite games. I payed $60 for the limited edition set, and I'm completely happy with my purchase.

Maybe. Depends if you want to spend $5 for a single player experience that is nearly identical every time through.

Yes, it is definitely worth the $5.

Bioshock is quite different than FO3. It's much more linear, scripted, and atmospheric/creepier then FO3.

I enjoyed them both. Although, they are very different games. FO3 is an RPG with guns, Bioshock is an FPS with RPG style character enhancements.

...and yes, Bioshock is worth $5 IMO.

i just played the demo, and it makes me motion sick, and queezy like hl2 does...is wierd thats the only game that does that. but eh i dont think im gonna be buying it. thanks for the input.

You need to uncheck the "fix fov" box in the video settings. That will pull the screen back and likely eliminate the motion sickness you are getting.

I couldn't get more than an hour or two into Fallout 3. I loved Morrowind...but I don't like Oblivion or Fallout 3. Maybe I'm getting old and/or developing ADHD or something...I get bored if I have to walk for 15 minutes to do something. I did enjoy Bioshock. 🙂

I would put it this way: bioshock is an OK shooter with OK RPG elements and a fantastic atmosphere with a paper thin story no matter how you choose to play. Fallout 3 is a sort of OK shooter with great RPG elements, an interesting atmosphere and VERY complex story depending on how you want to play it.
