Is bbzzdd gone for good or just having issues?

Odd.

Can you get to it ATM?

I've tried multiple PC's with no luck.

I can't even get a reply when pinging it.

Have tried IE and FF on two different PC's even.

yea, im there right now

I wonder if there's a routing issue with my ISP...

I've even cleared my cache, with no luck, not that that would matter for it not pinging.

I even flushed my dns to no avail...

Not even quirky for me

What IP is it resolving to?

I'd like to try that...

The only way I could ever get the site to be reliable was to bypass the DNS by adding this to my hosts file:

72.232.196.98 pics.bbzzdd.com

That worked for me.

No clue what happened.

Was working at one point and then just stopped.

I have had the DNS issue for well over a year. Two things you can do about it:
1) Add the entry to your HOSTS file like Jeff7 suggested (which is what you are doing right now)
2) Use OpenDNS's servers: 208.67.222.222 & 208.67.220.220 (which is what I did)
