Anyone catch that last episode of the simpsons where bart became nelson's best friend?

Great episode, best one I've seen in a while, but dang I kinda made me think of brokeback. Specially that last bit with bart stroking nelson's vest and nelson going "HAHA I touched ur heart."

Edit: incase you havent seen the episode Text

And no I'm not homophobic. I just find it interesting the direction they went with this episode. Look beneath the surface at the implied innuendos and you'll see what I mean.

He's a character who has been written by dozens of writers for two decades. I'd say, at this point, any attempt to pin down anything implied about the character is completely fallacious.

Um... the scene you are talking about IS a Brokeback Mountain reference. There is even similar music in the background. The picture of Nelson on the door - it's all from the movie.

The Simpsons have made allusions to countless movies over the years - just because this one has gay people in it doesn't make it any different.

Yep, that was definitely a Brokeback mountain reference.

And to answer the original question I would say that Bart is bi-curious. 😛
