I say yes. Average heighted people are short. Exhibit 1: average height of a man in the US is 5'10". Clearly a short manlet.

I thought it was generally understood that anyone < 6' was a manlet. You need a lot of below average people to create an average ;^)

I would think that over time, sexual selection would remove shortness from the gene pool but it hasn't happened yet.
 
Ugh, I used to be a man, now, with all the back problems I’ve had - I’m a 5'11" manlet 🙁 . Please don’t look down on me my former brothers in arms. 😛
 
5'6" here. Below average. 😱 Over 6' if I count the hair and use enough gel.

Short people live longer and have less chance of getting cancer, so there's that. 😛

But by the time that counts, the womenz that might have sex with you are past child bearing age. Manlets be dying out. 🙁

Like Boomer said, used to be 6'1"+. Now, 6' on a good day. If there is an upside, the womenz around my age have shrunk too. I'm invisible to any of them under 50 anyway. 🙁

I wanted to be closer to my older cousin's height of 6’2". Didn’t make it - now I’m kind of pissed about it. I had cousins even taller, but I didn’t want to wind up looking like Lurch. Wrong damn sperm got there first 😡

At 6, I'm borderline and at risk when compared to other Westerners. But judged on asian bell curve, I'm comfortably above the manlet danger zone.

If you're manlet, there's still hope for you. Just become rich and you instantly become taller to every female. Million dollars will instantly add couple inches in height to eyes of the females.

There are some advantages of being a manlet. When you fly transatlantic, economy seats will be comfortable and feel large as business class seats. You can laugh at all the tall people who have to contort their bodies to fit into the tiny economy seats with no leg room. Children clothes are cheaper than adult size so you'll save money when clothes shopping. And depending on how short and how young you look, you could possibly score children admission tickets to parks, movie theater, and other places.
