Use a prepaid credit card if you go with Avast. They will try to charge any card in their system, as well as going back to old card numbers if you try to change the credit card number. If you try to cancel the service the online form will always create errors in the final steps, so you need to open a support ticket and go through that nightmare to actually cancel.
