Is Athlon DDR faster than Athlon SDR?

I am in a dilema. I have a choice of the following systems, one Athlon SDR and the other one Athlon DDR. Here are the specs

[B}SDR[/B}
Athlon Thunderbird 1ghz(266 FSB)
IWILL KK266
128 MB PC133 RAM
Enlight 7237
Which is 347 dollars

DDR
Athlon Thunderbird 1ghz(266 FSB)
FIC AD11
128 PC2100 NON-ECC Ram
Enlight 7237
Which is 376 dollars

So, My question is, is it worth paying 29 extra dollars to get a DDR system? Will DDR provide significant performance increases. And If you guys are wondering, I am getting a IBM 60gxp 40 GB 72000 RPM Drive, a Geforce2 GTS, and other stuff that isnt important in this post 😉

A dilema over $29 for a ddr system? I wouldn't expect the gains that biggs stated in games, business apps but not games.

I agree with the above since the price difference is so minimal...However I think as the ddr platform matures one may get a bit more then 10-20 percent increase out of it...BUt money talks so by this purchase you get the 10-20 percent while using the latest technology.
