I just read through the staggering number of Mac posts in Anand's blog. Apparently, Anand has a real enfatuation with these devices, which is fine.
I just don't understand what's going on with the site. The percentage of Mac articles has jumped recently. Apple has <5% market share and they haven't really done anything exciting lately. They're not "early adopters" of core technologies: PCIe, DDR, SATA, AGP8X... The bleeding edge has always been with the PC. That's what excites me: new, bleeding edge technology.
FreeBSD, Aqua, and the G5 don't do a thing for me.
AT's motto seems to be "Your source for hardware analysis and news". There's very little news coming from the Apple camp other than a few speed bumps.
Is this the direction that AT is going in the future?
