That's the crux of the problem. No local newspapers have published anything on the incident.

Who has jurisdiction where the crash happened? Call the local police or sheriff's office and ask what they can tell you. Call the State Police and ask what they can tell you. Call whoever runs the medivac helicopter and ask what they can tell you. Call the FAA and ask about flight plans or whatever is needed for an emergency medical flight, but don't expect them to tell you jack.

Given how little information you're willing to provide, you can't expect us to hold your hand through it. Go take some initiative yourself.

my question is why are you guys helping? seems like he is stalking someone. IF he knew the person who was hurt and the family didn't tell him they don't wan't him to know.

Obviously I know most of that already. Calling to anyone local is out of the question as per the instruction I was given . But I will use the information given here to get what I want. Mods can lock this up now. Thanks.

Stalking? Far from it. I'm trying to confirm that an incident actually happened. But the person that wants that info wants to be extremely discreet.

I did. But the medivac FAA info never crossed my mind. I will start there since the indidivual would not be a local.

No, you idiot. The 'victim' is asking for donations and we are trying to confirm that this actually happened. If it did then the person will feel guilty for asking me but relieved that it's true. If not, then he will go to jail for fraud.

If you ran your own forum, you could lock threads. ;) If you ask nicely, maybe the mods will do it...but I wouldn't count on it.

when i was a kid on my 4th birthday i was hit by a car outside of my home in MD and airlifted to childrens hospital in DC. i'm PRETTY sure i was rushed to the hostpital about 1/5 a mile from where it happened ,and then flown from there to childrens hospital.

it would be interesting to find a record of it somewhere, so this thread intrigues me.

So... couldn't any of us also look for the information you are looking for, find the person that is seeking the donations, tell them that somebody is trying to investigate if they are for real or not, and probably get you in deep shit or at least cause the victim to try and find out who is trying to find out about him?

Yes. You could do that. But then you'd have to make some assumptions about what I've written.
