I don't think hospital admittance would be public record.

Lots of police info gets released, you might need to be a reporter or have a lawyer to get some it.

So the general public does not have access to it? What would be the difference between a reporter and a regular citizen in the eyes of the law?

Why should it be? Medical information is private. You may be able to get minimal information from police or fire, but don't expect any names or medical information.

Most likely this. You can probably get a basic report and confirmation that someone was airlifted to a hospital, unlikely to get names, and definitely wont get much in the way of medical information.

Right. So I should contact the state police since the alleged accident occured in one state and they were airlifted to a hospital in an adjacent state?

Depends on the type of accident. If it was a car wreck then yes whatever agency is responsible for wrecks in that area would have a report with who was involved and what happened. If it wasn't a wreck and an obvious accident then there would likely be no report, no crime = no police report.

If they were airlifted there might be some kind of record of the flight, although that wont' tell you anyone's name.

Would that be from the state police or from another agency? Or if they're crossing state lines is the Fed actually involved in any way or is it not that important?

I highly doubt the state police operates the medivac helicopter. They were probably airlifted to the closest hospital that has a helicopter. What kind of "information" are you trying to get?

In Maryland the State Police operate our helicopter EMS system (which I'm pleased to say is probably the best in the country.) Dunno if that's where the OP lives.

MD state police operates the medevacs. I don't know how that applies to other states. Most, if not all flights launch from Martin State Airport.

Trying to keep this off the grid.

Interesting. I'm only a little familiar with these guys and these guys.

OP: You're probably going to get the most information easiest from a news article...I highly doubt you'll be able to obtain anything relevant that wasn't released to the media.

Just following strict orders on something I know nothing about.

If you can't have her, no one will amirite? You tried to run her car off the road, but she survived the wreck and now you're looking to finish the job.

Rot in hell you monster.
