Is anyone running 4x512 VX RAM??

I wanna upgrade to 2GB RAM, but I don't wannna egt rid of this awesome VX. So I wanna get another set of 512 VX sticks. I'm currently running this RAM at 231mhz 2-2-2-7 @ 3.0v.

Anyone have 4x512 VX setup? How's it working out for you? I know I'll be running 2T, but I'm willing to take the 3% hit.

Nice rig. Awesome ram. My Twinmos Speed premium can only get 237 with 3.2 volts, but it can get 245 with 3.2volts if I use the 5Rail jumper instead of the 3.3 rail......... Wierd.

I wanna get some active cooling for the RAM without a stsand fan blowing directly into my PC cause it's too loud. Once I find some kind of cooling solution, I'll be taking these babies to 3.5v . Hopefully I'll get around 250-260 with soem decent timings.

I think you would be fine. The hit is more around 5%, but the high FSB makes up for it. Luckily for me, My air duct is right on top of my Ram slots, so I can just put a fan in it and have it blow on the ram..

Just expect that it might not overclock as well as having only 2 sticks.

dont get 2T major ocing problems I have heard. I recommend you go with 2 1gigs sticks.
