Is anyone registered to take the fundamentals of engineering / EIT exam this april in CA? If so, have you gotten a confirmation that you're registered?

I sent in my application to it beginning of febraury and haven't heard anything from them since. according to their instructions, I sent a self-address stamped post card with my appliaction, but haven't received it back yet, and I just checked my bank today, and noticed that the check I wrote for the fee hasn't been used yet.

I tried calling them and after jumping through their automated answering system, was only able to get the standard response that they only check if I haven't received my exam assignment and it's less than 10 days before the exam itself.

I'm getting a bit nervous considering the deadline to apply is coming up and I have no idea if they've received the application or not.

I took the exam today too. I was burned out by the end of it - couldn't think straight anymore.

Crazy too that it takes them 12 weeks to get the grades back.
The answer sheets are Scantron forms. Do they use trained rhesus monkeys to input the results to punch cards, which are then read by an ancient mainframe with a maximum processing speed of 50 operations per second?

Cause that sounds like it'd be pretty cool to watch. 😀

just took it. WTF i didn't get to keep my pencil 🙁

not my best test taking experience - I was dozing off during the last 20 questions in the morning session, so I gulped down a huge cup of coffee during the break. Ended up with the worst stomach cramp because i've never drank that much coffee that quickly before.

anyways, I'm confident i passed the morning session, not so confident on the afternoon. Which exam did you guys take for the afternoon session? I was debating hard between ChE and General up till the last minute before finally deciding on general.
