Is anyone looking forward to Miami Vice?

I have my doubts with Colin Farrell as Sonny, but Michael Mann usually does excellent movies. And since he was one of the producers of the TV version of the show, I really want to see it.

Anyone else?

I am looking forwards to it. It looks like he used the same cameras as in collateral (those that give it a more real live look) i guess they are hi-def.

1) Michael Mann usually equals quality.
2) Dialogue in the trailer is a bit stilted but otherwise looks promising.

When the TV show came out, it was the freakin sh**! At least I thought so! :D

The movie could be excellent, but if other movies based on 80's TV shows are any indication, it could suck royally. Hopefully it doesn't divert as far from the TV series as other Movies have.

I cant wait. I saw a clip of it on Leno and Collin's character speaks without the Irish accent.

I'm apathetic about another 80's TV show-turned feature film.

I watched Leno last night too. Is it just me, or does Colin Farrell seem like a real asshat?

the trailer looked great in the theatre. I didn't know it was miami vice until they showed the title at the end. I will watch it.

I saw it too. He does seem like an ass kind of. He was nervous as all hell though and it showed.
