Is anyone else ashamed of their hometown whenever they see Cops?

I grew up in a small town called Kent, WA... I was just watching a rerun of Cops right now, they had a Pierce County officer on patrol (not Kent, but around there). It's sad, because Kent/Renton/Covington/Tacoma are all "Cops" towns, places with large amounts of low-income rednecks.

So, I'm not ashamed of where I grew up, but it always makes me blush when I see it featured on Cops.

i live in san diego and proud of it! i love when i see sdpd on cops, then i look for buildings i might recognize so i can place the incident.
