No & no.

Lol, you're a Police Officer. I bet you don't have time to nap, right?

Even if there's a lull in the action I wouldn't want to be seen sleeping in a squad car. Not only would I be fired if I was caught, but that's really dangerous. I don't sleep at my other job either, even though it can be *extremely* boring driving a pickup around at 5mph for two hours while listening to AM radio.

Here's an idea - you're not in college anymore, go to sleep earlier.

Pesticide Application for a small city. That's my only source of income right now, then I have the volunteer PD thing, and now I'm also looking to get a third part-time job. I have school starting up again in a month...

No, my work place isn't run like a Kindergarten class. Do you guys get a 1/3 pint of milk and a cookie during morning break too? Maybe today you an learn about the letter "S" and how to share your crayons with your neighbor.

Sometimes we get milk and cookies. :)

I don't see anything wrong with napping every once in awhile, employees will be even more productive if well-rested and refreshed.

In seriousness I quite agree. If I was a boss I'd rather give an employee a 20 minute nap if they are dragging a$$ and get a good 7 hours of work out of that person rather than have him/her half asleep the entire day and basically get like 2 hours worth of work out of that person. However I would not like to see employees make a habit out of it.

BTW: can I have a cookie?

*thin mint for staley8*

Psh, I'll do that when I'm 80.

Besides, I'm usually well-rested, but nothing beats a catnap in the sun.

Yes(probably) and No. Sleeping during the day is a waste of time. I don't like to sleep at night as it is.

Same here :p

I try my damn level best not to, but if it's quiet - I work for the IT department at my college - sometimes I can't help it. It's like, one minute I'm fine, then it just hits me like a ton of bricks. It's a struggle just to hold my eyes open. Fortunately it's only for a couple of minutes, most of the time. Or until the phone rings, which ever comes first.

Some of my co-workers nap during lunch hour in their cars.

I wonder how they could stand the heat in there (we're in Orange County).

It would be much better if we had a couch to nap on instead, but I don't think our bosses would be happy with that.
