I must apologize in advance for this rant, but I can't help it! I depend on my free ISP to give me access to the internet at a price I can afford! FREE!!!
When the place I worked for 7.5 years closed up shop and left me out in the cold, so to speak, I was bummed big time. I didn't make nearly as much there as I feel I am worth, anyway, but at least it was enough to maintain the lifestyle that I'd become accustomed to. Now I'm working with a temp accounting agency who can't seem to keep me working as much as I'd really like to, so the Big Bucks are still not forthcoming. I'm registering with two more temp agencies once I've completed the assignment I'm on now, but that still doesn't help with the fact that I can't afford to pay for internet access. Besides, I am a firm believer that internet access should be free.
But when my ISP announced that 1stUp.com was bailing, and effective Dec. 10th, so were they, I started to panic!:Q I have too many monthly bills as it is, without having to shell out $10 to $25 per month extra for my internet access, and I'll be d*mned if I'll go without!!!!!!! I like my internet just as much as you (collectively) do!
So now I'm with this wimpy-*ssed ISP that won't support half the stuff the GF does on the net, let alone my Off Topic! Right now it's slow as snail sh*t!!!:|
