I'm just writing some weekly status report that the boss^3 wants to see from everyone in the department. Due monday morning, but...though I'd do it now...
 
i am actually converting in line strings into a function called zzGetPluginString(int idx) where you just throw it has a bunch of cases in there, each case being a different string, and when its called the idx is the number of the string you want.

its done because our product is sold worldwide and needs to be localized for different markets.
 
I only work 10 hrs/wk now that summer classes have started. Fvck work anyway. I hated going in every single day, but I don't have a problem with going to a few classes everyday. Just got back from the lab from doing a prelab. Never thought a prelab would take almost 2.5 hrs!! Appearantly my program works fine in Quartus but not in Maxplus 2 (what we are suppose to be using but Quartus is basically Maxplus 2 minus some things).
 
Yeah, I'd say I put in about 12 hard minutes of work today. Now I just have my IDEs open on my primary and just adjust them to make it look like I'm doing something. I'm ahead of schedule anyway. No harm in sticking to the original timeline, right?

my coworkers are not.

I walked into the office at 4 pm to discover dozens of unresolved issues that have been sitting in the ticket queue since, like... yesterday :shocked:

um, because of the people that no longer work here there is a lot of work to play catch up with. could you come in on saturday? that'd be greeeeeeeaat. oh, come in on sunday too. thanks
