I'm curious. I faintly remember seeing a chart somewhere saying we're #1 in US or something.

AT is big.. but is it THAT big?

Can I get some supportive data on this? I'm actually astonished.

How's the culture over at offtopic.com and somethingawful?

Are they as strict on nudity/unwritten rules? More rampant nefs?

S.A. has a subscription based forum, there pretty much anything goes.

I think its like $10 a year.

Edit: note, you don't have to pay to be a member of the forum, you just can't get to all parts of the forum unless you pay.

I have a friend that acts like that forum is his crack.

How many of the 118,000 users actually use these forums though? I've never seen more than 1,000 people on at once, and usually it's between 400-700.

Well as far as I am concerned, Anandtech - which I found by fluke - is the best one as far as I'm concerned. :)

For hardware (English), these forums > *

For other stuff...that's another story.
