Am i the only one seeing a huge hole between the 640 stream processor HD 7770 and the 1024 stream processor HD 7850? An 832 Stream processor HD 7830 would be nice at 199.99

No, HD 7850 would be nice at $200. And it will be there as soon as nvidia gets something that competes with it.

Instead of 7830, I'd expect them to do a 7790 just like they did with the 6000 series.

At current pricing and performance, I am not sure a 7890 makes a lot of sense right now. A "7790" maybe.

it will be a tahiti "harvested", just like the 6930, gtx560SE, 5830 and etc...

amd yields are good, so it will take time for those show up...

expect the bad performance/mm²/watt of tahiti compared to the rest of GCN

What about the 7990? Don't you dare tell me it won't ever exist :(

That chart says that the 7990 was supposed to have been released March 12.
Guess they ran into problems?
Note: that chart's "stream processors" numbers are not accurate either.

768 shader units? 7850 = 1024.

Sorry, but only in German:

I feel better about my 7850 purchase now that the GTX 660 has been delayed for another 6 months.

AMD could come out with something for $200 as there is a bit of a hole at that part of the market but who knows. I will say "maybe" once supply ramps up.
