Is Altec lansing making a 5.1 system Based on the MX5021 speakers?

Is Altec Lansing making a 5.1 version of their MX5021 system?
I read something months ago that said they were going to release one in jan/feb. Is this true?

I have already googled it many times, thats where I found it the first time. It is no longer there. I was looking for someone in the know.

5 satellites with maxBASS? Man that's gonna sound bloated. They are gonna need to soften up that EQ to make it sound a little more listenable with bass-based material.

no, not with max bass. That is the mx5020 2.0 system, the speakers/driver configuration on the mx5021 is different and much better. The mx5021 is a 2.1system. The last two numbers in the product name indicate the configuration. The mx5021system has received numerous top reviews. For two channel audio I prefer it over the others, in fact the 2.1 system has some of the least boomy bass out there.

Altec Lansing has already made a new 5.1 system, its been out for about a year now but not being released in the U.S. There the Altec Lansing HMX7051

Any idea on the cost? Sounds like the HtiB killer. Of course if its worth more than the ALX Klipsch 5.1 then I'd be wary.

Already did that, waste of money for my usage. I had about a 1k ht system hooked up to my pc.
