Is all this Planet X talk really something to be worried about?

I'm not worried.. Even if it was true, I wouldn't be worried.

We can't do anything but keep it in our minds, and prepare, at the most. I'm going to pretend like everything is going along normal.. Until it's not normal anymore.

Then I'll go find a nice rocky cave to live in for a while.

I can't believe anyone would even begin to take this seriously. Planets don't stop rotating, no matter what. If there was a dark star and another planet in this system it would have been publicized ages ago. There are thousands and thousands of astronomers looking at the sky all the time, I don't think they would miss another planet.

What exactly is going to stop the earth from rotating? The gravitational pull from the other planet? Or what? I mean..

Think of how much energy there is... the earth is spinning at what, around 1100mph at the equator?

That's what is so stupid about "conspiracy theories." If I find an article that says "there is no such thing as planet x" then it is obviously a cover up. If there was an article supporting the existence of it, it is obviously the work of some courageous astronomer tired of the conspiracy.

Do yourself a favor and take an astronomy class or something. And quit reading this nonsense.

While this could be true, I don't think it is, it would be too hard to cover it up. I mean think about it if one guy knows, he tells his family, his wife and kids are gonna tell there friends, then everyone knows. What about disgruntled employees that got fired from places like NASA and what not. If they knew about it they would tell everybody it. Plus if they have photos of this from an encyclopeida as the link said, then someone would have looked where this planet should be, if they found it they would tell everyone. While i do believe that there is something in space hurtling towards earth, I doubt it is a rouge planet that will hit next year, although I suppose it's possible, but if anyone knows then everyone knows. But in light of all this I felt we needed a stupid joke to lighten the mood. So heres my attempt.

Just think, with the weird weather going on, terrorist attacks (may be motivated by an imballance of cosmic proportions) and our failing economy, anything can happen these days. I know this might mean some of you rotund people can't watch Dragon Ball Z anymore but try to at least consider that the world is changing and it's not for the better. If you don't believe this planet x thing has any signifigance then try to prepare for another terrorist attack at least. Extra food, survival gear, etc. Also, think how absurd the world has gotten... money, greed, loss of basic values, martha stewert (haha) and everything else that turns the human animal into the human consumer. I'm tired of being told what to buy and to use my visa card to buy it with. I want to feel human by living as one and not as a soft shell of what a human could be.

No i didn't believe Y2K was going to cause any real damage. If anything it'd clear me from school loans and other debts, lol. If there's no red dot in the sky by April then fine, I and many others were wrong but being prepared is not a bad thing.
