is all local news bad news?

MAN! everytime i turn on to watch my local news I see it all. Everything imaginable from family crys to people getting ripped off.

I just turned on Fox 11 news here in LA and for the first 15 mins, I stared and watched a crazy footage of a horrible chain reaction crash @ the 405 here today. idiot drivers. then stray bullets from these retarded gang fights in South LA killed a wife as she walked in her own living room. 16 shots in the house. what is this (*&*(UY*(UY*( world coming to, everyime i turn on the tv. i hate LA

heres my question though, why? what is so fascinating about a murder, or retarded gangsters shooting at each other, I am well aware that this world is getting worse and worse as the days go by but i dont want the news to remind me. everytime, same crap, i just change the channel. i stopped watching the news.

The local news is here a lot more peaceful. It's often just too boring to pay any attention to it.

But then again, we don't have that many accidents, shootings etc. here. Maybe two each year if we try really hard

not many bad things happen here... they showed some pics of bush at his ranch, said something about some apartments burning down, a fire in hayes county, the new football freshmen, and that footage of the people running into each other on the 405 ahahahhaah that was funny. our news is so slow they show your news hehehe.
